This is a whole raw (unwashed) fleece from one of my pedigree Shetland sheep, weighing 1.3kg. It is mainly black with some areas of dark grey and has light brown sunbleached tips. This is a whole fleece, soft, fairly loose and open with a nice crimp and a staple length of 3- 4". It would be suitable for hand spinning, weaving and felting projects. As a raw fleece straight from the sheep there is some VM present although I have tried to remove the worst of it and I have skirted the muddy/dirty bits Please note I can only post to GB addresses.
