This product is black Welsh mountain sheep fleece, specifically rovings/fleeces, that have not been washed. She was shorn on 27 th May 2026 and had twin lambs this year. The fleece weighs 1.2 kgs and has a staple length of 3 1/2 inches or 9 cm. It is felted, but would tease out for spinning. It is raw and unwashed and straight off the sheep’s back. There will be some vegetation in it as it’s a natural product. It is brown on the outside and black underneath.
