This large wooden tatting shuttle is approximately 7.5cms long by 2cms deep and will hold a large amount of thread making it ideal for bigger projects. It has a painted motif on one side with the other side left undecorated. The shuttle has been varnished and is light and smooth to hold. It should be noted that while the blades meet together well on one end there is a gap of approximately 1.5mms between the blades on the other end. The final photo of the shuttle on its side shows this.
