This is a very small, very old paintbox containing some very old paints, which I understand was made by ROWNEY. I believe there would have been a water cup that slotted onto it originally but this is missing. My father’s name is on the back of it (Peter Evershed) on an ‘Official Finalist’ label so it’s possible he was given it as part of an art competition prize. Please see photos for further details.
