The light-weight 1/2 inch (12.7mm) cork is covered in a paper with a 1 inch (25.4mm) grid for speedy measuring. The board arrives wrapped in plastic to assist with tape-held projects, and it also keeps the paper tethered to the cork board. The board measures 11 x 17 inches (28cm x 43cm) and comes with five or six 1.5 inch (38mm) long steel t-pins.
