Apply Consoligel using a foam brush (or paintbrush for detailed areas), and apply evenly on the affected leather area. Allow to dry. A highly effective leather consolidant for leather book covers – penetrates into leather to rehydrate and treat red rot (powdery red brown deterioration), without causing harm to paper, or other cover materials.
