This artists lightweight Pochade easel box is handcrafted (no machinery used) in solid walnut and walnut ply, finished with a light oak stain and French polished. The box has adjustable torque hinges for position control, a hidden canvas holder that adjusts to hold a 29cm canvas or panel. All brass fittings are handmade including the hook for your brush washing pot, as shown in photo (pot not included) The box can be used as a plein air easel using a tripod mount, while out in your car providing a stable surface with plenty of room for paints and brushes or out walking ready to capture that perfect picture.
