Antique wooden handled rug hook, believed to date from the late Victorian or early 20th century. Featuring a turned hardwood handle with steel ferrule and forged steel hook, this traditional tool was used for rag rug, mat making or similar textile crafts. A lovely piece for collectors of antique sewing tools, haberdashery, primitive tools or country house antiques.
